The Child Centre - Gaza / A.M. Qattan Foundation, implemented the Hakawati’s (storyteller’s) performances within the Fourth Palestine Stories Festival in the Gaza Strip, organized by the Hakaya(story) team and the Arab Educational Forum - Palestine, under the slogan "Wheat and oil .. Narrate the stories...Water the plants".
The Centre implemented performances between (March 18-24 /2019) in Gaza Strip, inside and outside the Centre, and in Gaza governorates through the projects of“The Mobile Library” and “Child Friendly Areas”.
Al-Hakawati's performances included a collection of folk tales, including: The Story of Nagm-ElDin, Loli Bint al-Ghula (Loli the daughter of the goblin), and YaHalali Ya Mali, as dozens of children participated in the library of Centre, and the area of Al-Samouni, east of Gaza, the Maghraqa and Maghazi, Rafah and Beit Lahia.
This year, the festival came bearing the spirit of the land, its flavor and agricultural seasons, all embodied in the title: "Wheat and oil... Narrate the stories...water the plants."
It is worth mentioning that the Child Centre-Gaza / A.M. Qattan Foundation is participating in "Palestine Stories Festival” for the second consecutive year.
