The A. M. Qattan Foundation organized a guided tour introducing a number of artists and culture professionals to its new building in Al-Tireh, Ramallah.
On the building site, the guests met with the Foundation’s President, Mr. Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan and Mr. Yazid Anani, the Director of the Public Programme at the Foundation, among others. Mr. Anani explained that the tour aimed to introduce participants to the site, get their feedback and discuss future cooperation opportunities with relevant organizations. He added, “We are also keen to introduce our guests to the AMQF Public Programme; a new programme of the Foundation’s, launched only five months ago.”
The tour was followed by a workshop in the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center, during which guests explored, with the Foundation’s team, prospects for further cooperation within the new spaces made available thanks to the new premises. Through such initiatives, the Foundation hopes to engage the art community in a dialogue on the best operation of these spaces and their optimal utilization to serve the Palestinian cultural scene.
