During June and July, six online meetings were held between the artists participating in the final stage of Yong Artist of the Year Award (YAYA) 2014, competition curator, and a number of Arab and international artists who shared their experiences and previous work on archiving and personal history; this year’s competition theme.
Work between the YAYA artists and curator will continue in preparation for the competition’s final exhibition, which will open on 23 October as part of the Qalandiya International (QI) 2014.
