On 22 June, children participating in the ’99.9% Healthy’ summer course at the Qattan Centre for the Child, visited Dr. Haidar Abdel Shafi Health Centre at the Red Crescent Society in Gaza.
The visit was designed to familiarise the 14 participants (aged 8-10) with the medical facilities and systems at the Centre using the ‘Mantle of the Expert’ approach, where children played the roles of doctors and nurses.
