Between 5-6 June, the Walid and Helen Kattan Science Education Project organised in partnership with Ramallah Municipality a workshop as part of the process to develop a comprehensive study for the establishment of an interactive science centre in Ramallah. The study will be presented to the Ramallah Municipality at the end of August.

 

The workshop was led by two experts from the San Francisco based Exploratorium (Museum of Art and Science) in the United States. Director of Exhibits Tom Rockwell, and William Booth, an expert at developing strategic plans for museums and science centres led the workshop.

 

Several science school teachers participated in the workshop, as well as museums employees, scientists, artists, architects, science professors from local universities, and staff from the Foundation and Ramallah Municipality.
