The Culture and Arts Programme supported the production of two plays by grants from the Qattan Fund for the Performing Arts 2013. Sleeping Beauty Insomnia opened on 5 March at the National Theatre in Jerusalem, produced by Quds Art and directed by Ramzi Maqdisi. Later that month, on 23 March, Journey of Dreams, produced by Popular Theatre Group and directed by Fathi Abdel-Rahman, opened in Ramallah.

The Programme also supported the production of artworks for the exhibition ‘Ideas Bloom’, which was organised by the Eltiqa Group - Gallery & Contemporary Artists and opened at the French Cultural Centre in Gaza on 19 February. The exhibition presented works by artists who participated in the Contemporary Arts Programme, funded by the French Association of National Salvation, and supervised by the A. M. Qattan Foundation in cooperation with the French Cultural Centre.

In addition, the Programme was able to support ‘Prose Poem’ conference organised by Association for Culture and Arts Centre and Utopia held in Gaza on 27 February. It also supported an art exhibition entitled ‘The Impact of Light and Glass’ by artist Majdal Nateel, which opened on 12 March in Gaza, and a final exhibition entitled ‘Portrait’ by Ibrahim El-Awadi, which also opened in Gaza on 30 March.
