The Culture and Arts Programme recently supported a number of cultural events, including a concert featuring Palestinian musician Simon Shaheen, which was held on 11 January 2014 at the Ramallah Cultural Palace, and organised by the Edward Said National Music Conservatory and the Popular Arts Centre. It also supported the Karama Human Rights Film Festival organised by Ashtar Theatre and held across various Palestinian cities between 14-19 January 2014. It also sponsored the exhibition and catalogue for Nature of Mind by Bashar Alhroub, in which he shares his experiences in the arts. In adition, CAP supported the release of the CD, Identity under Construction, by the Palestinian band Karloma.
