On 28 October, The Qattan Centre for the Child (QCC) launched the Second International Youth Film Festival. The Festival, organised by Young Palestinian Filmmakers Society, is dedicated to supporting young filmmakers in their attempts to express themselves through the medium of film, providing them with an independent forum to present their work, discuss it, and see the works of other young people from around the world.
The Festival was launched in Gaza in parallel with Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Five documentaries were screened in QCC, which highlighted the patterns of daily life of young Palestinians and Arabs.
