On 25–26 September, The Palestinian Performing Arts Network (PAN) organised a workshop on NGO self-assessment conducted by trainer Shawkat Sarsour. The workshop was attended by representatives from the 12 PAN partners.
On the first day, self-evaluation objectives were discussed. The attendants also discussed the means by which organisations can collect useful data, as well as legislation information. On the second day attendees reviewed their financial, material, and human resources, as well as their relationships with their audiences, organisations across the sector, funding agencies, benefactors, etc. The two-day forum concluded with a presentation and discussion of the necessary steps for implementing a successful NGO self-assessment.
