The Foundation contracted Deloitte to carry out an internal audit, including the preparation of a policy and regulations for the Internal Audit Unit. The appointment was made following a decision by the Board of Trustees in its last annual meeting held last May in Amman, Jordan.
As part of this contract, a preparatory workshop was conducted by Deloitte at the Foundation, in the presence of Omar Al-Qattan, Secretary of the Board of Trustees and Foundation staff to present the working framework for introducing the internal audit function over the next three years.
