The Foundation held its annual meeting on 14 and 15 May in Amman, Jordan. In attendance were Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Omar Al-Qattan, Secretary of the Board, board members Leila Al-Qattan and Nadia Hijab, and the management committee.
Attendees discussed the achievements and main challenges of the Foundation’s three programmes over the past fiscal year, as well as their plans for the upcoming year. Attendees also highlighted the development of the Foundation’s work, internally, locally, regionally, and internationally.
It was agreed that there was a need to start devising a new five-year strategic plan for 2014-2018, which would take into account the Foundation’s growth, in addition to any changes, opportunities, and challenges that might arise from the establishment of the Foundation’s new Cultural Centre and the Palestine office.
