On 16 October, the Centre organised an event to commemorate the Qibya massacre as part of the project entitled "Qibya Perseveres", implemented in collaboration with the Qibya Secondary Boys School. The event included collecting archival materials on the massacre from history book and documenting testimonies from elderly people who witnessed the massacre. Students also drew maps of the village at that time in order to clearly identify the locations where the village was invaded and where martyrs were assassinated. The event also included a scout marching activity, placing garlands of flowers on the memorials at the centre of the village, and screening of a documentary film about the massacre.
