On 25 September, the Centre’s library organised a cultural symposium that hosted Palestinian writer, novelist and historian Dr Yasmine Zahran. The meeting included a presentation by the writer on her personal experience in literary writing and her publication of books on archaeology and history. The symposium also included introductory remarks by Dr Mahmoud Al-Atshan, Lecturer in the Arabic Language Department at Birzeit University. These meetings come within the library’s interactive cultural activities, which aim to create a space where writers and the public interact to generate knowledge based on dialogue.
