The Programme’s Audio-Visual Unit organised a training workshop on film lighting and grip techniques at the Foundation’s office in Ramallah between 15 and 24 September. The training targeted 20 trainees from different professional backgrounds, including participants working at Palestinian media institutions and students studying in relevant fields. The workshop aimed to develop and strengthen the technical and artistic skills of audiovisual practitioners. It was supervised by French Gaffer (Lighting Director) Blaise Basdevant, who is well versed in Palestinian cinema through his management of lighting in several Palestinian feature films.
