The Mosaic Rooms’ main exhibition space was transformed into A Watchtower of Happiness and Other Landscapes of Occupation from 26 November to 15 December. The new installation by Febrik, took the shape of a collaborative platform for participatory art and design research, founded by Reem Charif, Mohamad Hafeda, and Joumana Al Jabri. The interactive work looked at the inventive, culturallyspecific, and unique practices that demonstrators employed to occupy public spaces in three Arab cities during the recent uprisings.
