The Foundation held its 2010/2011 annual meeting on 2 June, with Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, chairman of the Board of Trustees, Omar Al-Qattan, secretary of the board, Leila Al-Qattan, Najwa Al-Qattan and Leena Al-Qattan from London linking through video conference with the management committee and senior staff in the West Bank and Gaza.
The meeting addressed the Foundation’s achievements and main challenges over the past fiscal year, in addition to discussing and approving work plans and the budget for next year. A total budget of $5,953,857 was approved for the 2011/2012 fiscal year, 61% of which is secured from the Qattan Charitable Trust, while the rest is to be raised from other sources, mainly co-funding partners.
