A pedagogical course entitled “Mantle of the Expert: an educational approach for kindergartens” was held in the Red Crescent Society hall in Al Bireh from 28 to 31 December. The course was conducted by British expert Luke Abbott and targeted 30 kindergarten educators from the West Bank, Jerusalem and Palestinian communities in Israel. The goal was to introduce the key concepts and practices in this specific teaching approach, focusing on building the appropriate context for learning, in addition to giving feedback to teachers who applied this approach in their classrooms during the first school semester, 2010.
