The Qattan Centre for the Child (QCC) conducted a survey on the needs of six kindergartens in the Gaza Strip and identified areas of intervention required for their development. This survey is part of “Towards a Happy Childhood” project implemented with co-funding from the Welfare Association and in partnership with the Centre for Children in Nazareth, the Early Childhood Resource Centre in Jerusalem and the Arab Resource Workshop in Beirut. The project aims to bring about a qualitative change in early childhood experiences through the development of kindergartens in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Palestinian communities inside the Green Line, and Palestinian communities in Lebanon.
