On 25 November, the Foundation held its semi-annual meeting for the year 2010 in the presence of Mr. Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Laila Al-Qattan, and Omar Al-Qattan, Secretary of the Board from London, as well as the Management Committee and unit managers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The meeting was held via video conference between Gaza, Ramallah and London.
The milestone addresses during the meeting referred to the achievements of the three programmes over the past six months, the development of new project ideas, and the ongoing effort to develop the Foundation’s policies and procedures. Communications and resource development and the importance of developing policies for this part of the Foundation were also discussed. The creation of and appointment to a new post in this area was noted, as was the production of a new brochure and the redesigning of the website.
