Winter Course on "Animation in Education"

QCERD organised a winter course on animation in education from 24–30 January in Birzeit. The course targeted 18 teachers from six schools in the Jerusalem district. It was conducted by Kifah Fani, a researcher at QCERD, as well as foreign experts Gary Rosborough and Jan Caspers. The course is part of the “Animation in Education” project, co-funded by the Welfare Association, and focused on training teachers and students on producing short animated films for educational purposes using play-dough and cardboard. It prioritises the central role of the student in the pedagogical production process.
