The Languages and Social Sciences track at QCERD organised three training courses in Ramallah under the title “For a Different Education”. The courses, which were conducted by QCERD’s researchers and qualified teachers, targeted teachers of the Ministry of Education’s comprehensive educational activities programme, as well as teachers at the Collège des Frères in Bethlehem, and kindergarten teachers at the Early Childhood Resource Centre in Jerusalem. Courses focused on important educational theories, intellectual contexts of modern education, the zone of proximate development, ‘mantle of the expert’, and context-building.
