On October 9-10, the Centre organised various activities in celebration of the olive harvest season. The Centre’s team, accompanied by children, parents and volunteers from community associations and institutions, set out to the Middle Area [of the Gaza Strip] to help farmers pick olives. Activities included workshops on olive pressing and soap manufacturing, popular games, drama, art and drawing, Dabkeh dance, novel and story writing, in addition to a group breakfast of olive, olive oil, thyme and fresh bread.
