September 29th marked six years since the establishment of the Qattan Centre for the Child in Gaza City. On this occasion, the Centre organised an open day for children and their families. The day’s activities varied between painting murals, drawing workshops, drama, storytelling, as well as written and oral expression and recalling of their early days. Moreover, the children joined the staff in decorating the centre. Activities were concluded by a recreational artistic show by “Fawares Al-Arab” Band, which presented interesting shows for the children in an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
