The Foundation convened its semi-annual meeting for the year 2011 on January 4. Present in the meeting were Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Omar Al-Qattan, Secretary of the Board, Najwa Al-Qattan, Member of the Board from London, as well as members of the Management Committee in Palestine. The meeting was held via video-conference between Gaza, Ramallah and London. Participants in the meeting discussed the three programmes’ achievements during the past six months. They also discussed the latest developments pertaining to the launch of a cultural activities project for youth in refugee camps in Lebanon, procurement of a building for the Foundation in Nazareth, the architectural design contest for building the Foundation’s new premises in Ramallah, and the Foundation’s management of a grant from the Swedish Agency for International Development for the performing arts sector in Palestine.
