On the occasion of World Water Day, the Centre launched an awareness campaign from 11-22 March with the participation of about 2,400 children. The Campaign was held in partnership with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility and Al Dameer Association for Human Rights with support from UNICEF. The campaign aimed to encourage children to practice proper health habits including rationalisation of water consumption. It included a range of play-based interactive activities. The event concluded with a ceremony attended by representatives from UNICEF and partner organisations, as well as by hundreds of children.
