On 10 June, the Centre's Outreach Services Unit launched the activities of the mobile library bus in partnership with the Goethe Institute. The bus will operate over the three-month summer break to reach children in marginalised areas. The initiative targets children aged 4-15 years and their parents in local community institutions, public areas, children's hospitals and schools in all Gaza Strip governorates. The bus encompasses several activities such as free reading, storytelling, using drama in storytelling, popular Palestinian games, face painting, cultural competitions, an ‘open microphone’ activity, film screenings, drawing and handicrafts.
