On 5 June, the Centre organised a panel discussion on history and another on the Centre’s childhood programmes with kindergarten teachers from the Negev. A training session was also held for teachers involved in the third phase of the project entitled "Skills Development of Basic Education Teachers in the Qalqilia Governorate". Furthermore, the Foundation’s executive director, Ziad Khalaf, met with the female students involved in the Centre’s "Clean Deir Qaddeis" project. These activities are products of the Centre’s interventions which collectively aim to re-orientate teaching and learning based on an "integrative education" model in which education is a part of rather than apart from everyday life, as well as to empower teachers as producers of knowledge and enable them to exchange experiences and knowledge.
