On February 20, the Centre’s Information Technology Unit organised a visit for children of the Programmers’ Club and the Website Designers’ Club to the Information Technology Department at the Islamic University in Gaza. The visit aimed at introducing the children to the technology environment in the department and the services it provides. Ghassan Jaber, Director of the university’s IT Department, greeted the children, gave them a tour of the department’s various units and the computer labs, and briefed them on the nature of the work of the department’s technical staff. The children attended part of an actual lecture, which was followed by a question-and-answer session allowing children to learn about the educational system and study methods at the university, as well as the electronic services provided to students.
