The “Try, Discover and Enjoy” activities organised by the Qattan Centre for the Child (QCC ) through the summer of 2010 drew the participation of thousands of children. The events marked a unique combination of science, entertainment, technical and scientific activities, and computer and information technology. The QCC library also saw heavy book borrowing and internal reading activities where the borrowing office registered 16,100 books to external borrowers and 32,100 books for internal readers.
