The Culture and Arts programme (CAP) supported Muhammad Al-Madhoun’s exhibition “Power and the Challenge of Time” at the Qattan Centre for the Child in Gaza and Ruqayya al-Lulu’s exhibition “Under the Sky” at the Eltiqa’ Artists’ House in Gaza. CAP also supported various performances, most notably the ‘Third Theatre of the Oppressed Festival’ organised by Ashtar Theatre and the ‘Sixth Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival’ organised by the First Ramallah Group. In addition, the Programme supported a workshop on photo and video documentation of dance performances, held on the sidline of the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival. It also supported workshops for children on puppet theatre at the Baq’a Refugee Camp in Jordan organised by the Arab Puppet Theatre Foundation (Lebanon) in cooperation with Dafa Puppet Theatre (Jordan).
