The Culture and Arts Programme supported the tour of the play ‘Emergency Landing’ by the Hakaya Theatre Association across several Palestinian cities in May 2014. It also supported a dance performance entitled ‘Bound’ by Samar Haddad King, which took place on 28 April at the Ramallah Cultural Palace as part of the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival.

 

During April and May, the Programme supported a touring circus performance entitled ‘B-Orders’, which was organised by the Palestine Circus School and visited several Palestinian cities. CAP also participated in supporting the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival organised by Sareyyet - Ramallah First Group between 14-29 April.

 

In visual arts, the Programme supported an exhibition by artist Khaled Hourani, which was part of the Glasgow International Festival 2014 between 4 April - 18 May. CAP also funded the participation of artist Suleiman Mansour in the same festival, as well as supporting an exhibition entitled ‘How Green Was Our Valley’ by a group of young Palestinian artists that was held in New York City between 1-30 April . In addition, the Programme supported calligraphic artist Saher Kabi’s participation in the 12th International Festival of Fine Arts in Fez, Morocco between 4 - 20 April.
