The Culture and the Arts Programme supported several performances of the play ‘Brother’. The play was staged in Hebron, Aroub Camp, Fawwar Camp, and Dheisheh Camp. It was co-produced by Al-Qafilah Theatre, the Palestinian National Theatre/Al-Hakawati and Al-Sanabil Theatre in Jerusalem. The Programme also supported the organisation of five performances of the play ‘Rukab’, acted and directed by Taher Najib at the Avignon Festival and the European Poetry Centre in Avignon, France. These events were organised by TAMAM: Theatre Arts of the Arab World and Mediterranean, between 9-13 July.
