The Qattan Centre for Educational Research and Development (QCERD) organised a second workshop within the Cinema in Education project on 30-31 October. The workshop was conducted by Palestinian director Laila Abbas with the participation of teachers from Palestinian schools.
The workshop focused on scenarios, visual writing and character development. Attendees were introduced to Palestinian cinema, its evolution and main genres. Films from various periods were screened, then discussed and compared in terms of plot elements, dramatic structure and characters.
