Between 26 – 27 April the Walid and Helen Kattan Science Education Project brought Science Snacks activities to the Nowar Nissan Festival held in the old city of Ramallah. Activities focused on engaging children with fun, interactive science experiments. The different themes were: Science and Technology Behind the Camera, Developing Films, Forensic Science, Funny Chemistry, Kites and Flying History, and Microenvironments.

In a similar event, the Silwad Secondary School Science Club organised another Science Snacks activity on 16 April, in cooperation with the Walid and Helen Kattan Project that included several science activities for all ages. The audience interacted with simple experiments designed to encourage their interest in science.

Members of the Science Club from the Silwad Secondary Girls School in Ramallah were supervised by teacher Karima Awadallah and the Project team, as they planned experiments and activities for their communities.
