Eleven students (Shahadah Shallaldah (Ramallah), Tariq Al-Rantisi (Jerusalem), George Qondloft (Nazareth), Mohammad C arzon (Qalandiya), Muntaser Jebrini (Balata refugee camp), Amir Malhees (Nablus), Loay Abu Sinni (Nazareth), Hala Jaber (Beit Sahour), Ramzi Shomali (Bethlehem), Nassim Al-Atrash (Beit Sahour), Anas Al-Najjar (Gaza). ) were awarded the Qattan Music Scholarship this year. Five scholarships were co-funded by the Swedish Agency for International Development (SIDA). The students are studying in different cities around the world including London, Rome, C airo, Jerusalem, Damascus, Boston and others cities.
Six other students were also awarded similar scholarships in the field of theatre, dance, and sound and lighting technologies. They are: Yassin Qassem (Burj Al-Barajneh refugee camp - Lebanon), Khalid Barghouthi (Couper - Ramallah), Hamid Hamayel (Nablus), Salah Hanoun (Nablus), Khalil Khaled (Nablus), and Jihad Barg (Jerusalem).
