On 9 September, QCERD celebrated the reopening of its centre in Gaza after its renovation.
Fathia Ibrahim Sarsour, a writer and Professor of Literary Criticism, participated in the celebration along with a number of teachers, educators and intellectuals.
Sarsour talked about her experience with writing, her books and publications and children’s literature. She also read out a short story and two poems from her book Gaza: Songs of Passion and Pain, which she wrote during the last Israeli war on Gaza.
