Between 5-22 May, the Culture and the Arts Programme hosted a photography exhibition entitled ‘From Qurtuba to Cordoba’, which opened at the Foundation’s headquarters in Ramallah.
The exhibition included a collection of photographs showing the Islamic history and heritage of the Spanish city of Cordoba. The exhibition demonstrated the key role Arabic and Islamic culture have played in the life of this historic city.
The exhibition was organised in partnership with Casa Árabe, and the Consulate of Spain in Jerusalem. It toured various Spanish, European and Middle Eastern cities before arriving here in Palestine.
