Ramallah Doc 2017 invites Palestinian filmmakers to apply for the pitching session with international producers and TV representatives which will take place in Ramallah in October 2017
 
The selected filmmakers will then be invited to participate in a production workshop (July), a trailer development workshop (September) and a pitching techniques workshop (early October). 
Eligible applicants are professional directors or newcomers with a concrete idea for a film project and an action plan for realizing it. Projects can be presented at any stage of development, regardless of format or style. Interested candidates should send the completed application form and their latest biography to ramallahdoc@gmail.com no later than June 18th 2017.

Established in 2009, Ramallah Doc is an opportunity for Palestinian documentary filmmakers to build their capacities, develop new ideas and pitch them to a forum of international film producers and TV representatives that included in the past years: Ina Fichman (Intuitives Films), Irit Neidhardt (Mec Films), Aaqil Ahmed (BBC UK), Ann Julienne (France Télévisions), and Philippe Muller (Arte) and many others. In this round, Ramallah Doc will grant prizes for the winning projects in the form of travel grants to participate in different pitching sessions and relevant film events. Ramallah Doc has so far succeeded in matching several Palestinian film makers with international commissioning editors and production companies to develop their film projects, in addition to assisting many Palestinian directors secure pre-buy deals and post production grants.
