The Programme awarded $230,000 in 14 grants to support new performing arts and film projects. The grants fall under the Qattan Fund for Performing Arts project (QFPA), through which $171,000 was awarded in 10 grants, and the Production Support project (PSP), through which $59,000 was awarded in 4 grants. Fifty-four applications were received for the QFPA project, including 45 applications related to production and 9 related to specialised training. Twenty-seven film proposals were received from directors and producers from Palestine and abroad. Selection of the winning applications was made by an independent jury based on the Programme's standards and professional selection criteria.
