On 4 December the Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education, with the aim of achieving the objectives of the Professional Development Programme of the Walid and Helen Kattan Science Education Project. The project helps train science teachers and education staff (including school administrators and supervisors), and works to build a network between schools. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Undersecretary Mohammed Abu Zaid on behalf of the Ministry, and Executive Director Ziad Khalaf on behalf of the Foundation.
