A. M. Qattan participated in the Sixth Conference of the North Africa and Middle East Science Centers Network (NAMES 2018), held in Alexandria – Egypt. The Foundation presented two interventions; the fisrt  on science relating to the development of exhibits and the design thinking and audience involvement.  The second was on childhood and science under the title of “Capable and Competent Children” in an interactive workshop to link arts to sciences. It further chaired and moderated a session. The effort was made by researchers and exhibition developers: Dr. Nader Wahbeh, Malek Al-Rimawi, Vivan Tanous, Saja Amro, Majed Al-Rimawi and Samar Kirresh.

The Science Studio, experiment by A. M. Qattan Foundation, was presented as a model to exchange experiences and broaden horizons in an intervention by Silva Raker from the Exploratorium in USA. She presented a case study on the exchange of experience and enhancing cross-cultural understanding.
