The Qattan Foundation was awarded the TAKREEM Arab Achievement Award 2012 for Innovation in Education, at a ceremony held at the Bahrain Cultural Museum in Manama, Bahrain, on 29 November 2012. The Foundation’s Executive Director, Ziad Khalaf, and Wasim Kurdi, Director of the Qattan Centre for Educational Research and Development, attended the ceremony, which was hosted under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin 'Issa Al Khalifa, in association with Kingdom of Bahrain Ministry of Culture.
