Children enrolled in the English Language Club of A. M. Qattan Foundation’s Child Centre-Gaza, organized a literary meeting with young writers, Fatema Touman and Diaa Al-Sirsawai to discuss their stories, which won the Youth Short Story Contest (Novell Gaza 2). The two female authors talked about their personal experience in writing and publishing in English.

 

Novell Gaza 2 is a book with ten winning stories including Scars of Wars and My Cat by Diaa Al-Sirsawi and The assassination of a Butterfly by Fatema Touman.

 

Children enjoyed a rich and interactive discussion about the winning stories.

 

It should be noted that Novell Gaza is a youth short story contest organized by Tamer Institute for Community Education in Gaza, in cooperation with a pioneer Swedish youth group.
