The Qattan Centre for Educational Research and Development organised between 11-12 September a filmmaking workshop at the Red Crescent Society in Al-Bireh. The workshop was supervised by film director Laila Abbas and was attended by 21 teachers from various Palestinian schools.
The workshop was the first in a series to teach teachers how to make films, which will be held twice a month during the current academic year. The project trains teachers in all aspects of film production, and enables them to then train their students so they can produce films about their lives and society.
