The Centre has recently launched a pioneering educational initiative: a project to exchange expertise between Palestinian and British teachers. The goal is to enhance teachers’ professional skills and allow them to participate collectively in building specific educational contexts based on drama as a pedagogical tool through the “Mantle of the Expert” approach to teaching and learning. To this end, the Centre invited five British teachers to come to work with Palestinian teachers in public and private schools and kindergartens for one week in order to help the Palestinian teachers improve their lesson planning skills for integrated teaching and learning, and enable them to teach the method to their colleagues in the future. The Centre is planning to send a group of Palestinian teachers to the United Kingdom in June for further training.
