On 17 July, the Centre organised a closing ceremony for the 2012 summer “Droplet … Water is Life” programme activities. This initiative had run between 5 June and 17 July. About 400 children, parents and carers attended the event which included presentations by talented children, an artistic sketch by children under 6 years of age entitled "Flowers and Butterflies", on the tunes of Spanish band "Las Ketchup", a musical performance by children on musical instruments of their own making, traditional Dabka dancing and poetry readings. The ceremony was concluded with a creative theatrical work entitled “Snow White 2012”, in which the children presented a new version of Snow White in an original cultural style.
