The Programme organised a technical course entitled “Choreographing with the Lens”. Eight trainees from different backgrounds in the filmmaking and dance industry participated in the course, which ran from 10 to 14 June. Supervised by British trainer Isabel Rocamora and run in partnership with the British Council and the First Ramallah Group, the course covered the basics of filmmaking such as formulating film ideas, working with lighting and space, and the production process. At the end of the course, three collectively produced short films were shown at the Al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque on 16 June as part of the film screening programme known as "Tabassor" which showcased British films dedicated to dance.
