The QCC held a closing ceremony of the activities of the summer of 2010 in Rashad Shawa Cultural Centre on August 9. An exhibition of products made by the hands of children during the summer events ran in parallel with the ceremony which was attended by hundreds of children and parents. The audience enjoyed musical and artistic performance of the children of Al Qattan Clubs; the choir child club sang heritage songs, the drama child club performed a theatre sketch, the performing art club sang “Oh see where are the sailors”, in addition to a solo performance on the kanoun by the child Mahmoud Kahil and a performance by the QCC preschool children.
