The Arab Foundations Forum (AFF) honoured Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, founder of the A. M. Qattan Foundation and chairman of its Board of Trustees, for his tireless work in philanthropy in the Arab region. The honouring ceremony took place during a gala dinner which was part of the AFF annual meeting, themed “Towards Effective Philanthropy in the Arab region", which convened in Beirut from 4-6 May. The A. M. Qattan Foundation, a full member of the AFF, was represented by its executive director, Ziad Khalaf, who gave a presentation about the Foundation’s effective collaborations and partnerships with Palestinian, Arab and international institutions, and how these facilitate its contribution to cultural and educational development in Palestine.
