On 12 October, QCC launched the ‘Higher than the Wall’ Initiative; as part of the 2014-2018 Strategic Plan which caters for children with special needs. In 2014-2015, the initiative will target deaf children via ‘Stories and Scraps’, a plastic arts programme which allows children to document their personal stories and memories, in addition to the ‘Drama for Everyone’ programme, which assists deaf children in discovering and expressing themselves through drama.
